- We can train a core set of staff to effectively conduct internal tracers using the same technique used by Joint Commission surveyors. We begin with classroom training on the NSPGs, frequently scored standards and tracer technique. Staff will be provided with sample tracer questions, tools to record your tracer findings and sample questions to use during the tracers. Following training staff will observe tracers conducted and then conduct their own tracers with input and advice from our trained consultants.
- Training modules will be prepared and left with the organization. These training modules can be viewed by staff after our consultants leave, and as you get new staff. Don’t reinvent the wheel, reuse the key training.
